An enjoyable night. A group from our squadron based at RAF Marham visited this place for our Christmas party. Good food and good service in a very rural location. Definitely off the beaten track.

Came last weekend for a Christmas party and stay the night. Christmas dinner was very disappointing I had Turkey but didn't look like a fresh Turkey but more like a Turkey roll. Also not much veg on the plate. DJ was also poor and never spoke apart from telling us it was last orders at the bar. All the the staff was very helpful with anything you wanted. The room was very tidy and very comfortable, only thing was to warm and could not turn heating down.

Stayed for works Christmas party. The room smelt of chip fat? Nasty smell. The room was tiny. Broken blinds taped up with black tape, bed was really hard and made lots of noise, every time I moved. No mirror in the room, no bedside tables. Little room around the beds. To walk to the venue , there was thick gravel, no proper path, with nice high party shoes on, they got dirty and marked. Maybe need to put a concrete path. Hard walking in high heels in thick wet gravel. Told to arrive at 6.30pm, didn't get food for ages, finished food at 9.30pm, far to late to want to dance. Our room was a fair walk from the venue, and as it was windy and wet, was not a great place to put us. We said when we booked we were attending the party. We were the furthest away! Not overly impressed. Breakfast was nice, but when you looked up in the beams, there was an area, that looked like alot of rubbish dumped in a corner of the ceiling. I always like to give a fair review, there was alot that wasn't good. On a plus, the staff were friendly, having the same people serving breakfast, that were working in the evening event, they work hard, and hope they are recognised for this.

Just returned from a stay at the Farmhouse, a 5* review from us everything was perfect. The room we had (201) was absaloutely lovely it was clean and well equipped. Little touches like the welcome goodies and lovely white dressing gowns and towels . We had a lovely meal and they even dressed the table for his birthday with a candle in his pudding . Everyone was so lovely from the resturant staff to the lovely housekeeper . We will definitely be back Thank you

Having a wonderful stay in room 303. A great find for us visiting the area to see relatives. Newly appointed room with some great little touches. Restaurant and bar is exceptional and great staff, will definitely be back.

Alice, who checked me in was also the waitress at the restaurant. She was wonderful! Even though the chef had left, she plated me up a dessert. Alice might be their jewel in the crown! I had a single room. It’s small, but super clean and just what was needed. Sadly a bit of a grim view (a service yard / wheelbarrows, etc) but it had very little impact. Love my stay.

We drove up from Cornwall which was a very long drive to Fincham. The staff very friendly and professional with a warm welcome. Grounds beautiful and well maintained. Food fantastic and well presented. Thanks for looking after us so well Sean, Nathan and Erin.

Stayed here this week whilst on a trip to Nofolk. Firstly the good. The location is absolutely lovely with the room blocks nicely laid out. My wife is an aircraft geek and the impromptu airshow put on by the F-35's in and out of RAF Marham was superb. The food was very palatable and the large breakfast set me up for the day. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, especially Nathan. They made the two of us and our dog very welcome- thank you Now on to the not so good. The only problem was really with the room itself. Firstly, at it is a minor point, we only were supplied with one key. It would have helped had we had another. My wife and I are not as mobile as we used to be and we found everything to be very low, especially the toilet and the sofa. The kettle lead was too short, trivial, but potentially dangerous. A table for somewhere for my wife to do her hair and make up would have been helpful. The bathroom was lovely and the walk in shower was superb. The only issue with the shower was a hand rail would be a good improvement. . By far the largest problem was the temperature in the room. Being painted black on the outside, the rooms were very warm. According to Nathan having air conditioning is not an option, so the rooms should be equipped with fans, We were lucky rhat it had cooled down a little from the previous day. One last niggle from me is that there was no clock in the room. All of the above are relatively trivial and I have to say that The Farmhouse is a lovely place to stay and we will definitely come back again

I stayed one night for work reasons. Easy to find, despite its rural location. Really lovely setting, the welcome by Nathan was warm and helpful. My room was really nice, bright yet cosy. I would have liked a small mirror as there wasn't one near any of the sockets but I worked around that. Tea, coffee , biscuits and crisps in the small tray which was a nice touch. Dinner was really good, I had the pasta, which was a very generous portion, followed by the lemon trifle. I needed to be away before breakfast started and they arranged for a breakfast sandwich to be ready for 8am, which was great and much appreciated! I'd definitely recommend a stay for business or leisure. Great

We just had a lovely one-night stay here on an impromptu getaway to Norfolk. Such professional, friendly staff who offered a warm welcome and great evening meal and breakfast service. Set in beautiful grounds with plenty of outdoor space for dining/drinks. 😊

Stayed for one night after a wedding this weekend, the food wasn't great and should have been hotter, the bread rolls were hard/stale, the room was expensive for a basic double, with no wardrobe or chest of drawers, the toilet/bathroom was not up to standard with the water temperature fluctuating and the mastics seals splitting and showing signs of mould, paid about £130 and was severely disappointed, definitely not going back there.
